Steeles Electrical, Omagh
“Steeles” has been a name that has been trading in Omagh town centre for over 120 years. It was initially a shop which sold and repaired bicycles including the well-known name Raleigh brand.
As time passed new changes emerged in the shop business with the introduction of television rental sales and repairs. We started with black and white TV sets, then colour screen from sizes 14” to 32” was introduced, then came LCD and today we sell 32” to 75” screens. Our expertise show there is nothing we don’t know about the TV industry. We sell a range of high-quality TVs including Walker, LG and Toshiba band names.
Currently we provide professional installation of aerials BBC & RTE and satellite systems to domestic and commercial buildings. We also supply and fit suitable TV wall brackets to suit all sizes of TVs.
In addition to TV services, we also specialise in the electrical bulb trade. A lot of changes from the incandescent regular bulb to halogen, compact fluorescent and now the LED era. There are a few colours to choose from – white, warm white, cool white and daylight. We do our best to please every customer to suit their needs their environment of use.
The services on offer doesn’t stop there we have a battery fitting service for watches, as well as car, alarm, gate key fobs and clocks.
Repairs service is available for remote controls, GHDs, radios, lamps, hairdryers, steam irons and other small electrical appliances.
We also now offer a key cutting service for household keys.
The sales included as previously stated TVs, along with Roberts Radio range, toasters, kettles, electric blankets, vacuum cleaners and associated bags for the same, electrical sockets, switches, outdoor lamps, fuses, cables, torches, headphones, smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, all specialist leads e.g., HDMI, phono, 3.5 Aux, fibre optical, CAT 5 & 6 up to 30m long, sound bars, Humax recorder box, Freeview & FreeSat 1TB to 2TB storage plus the USB pen drives 16 to 128GB.
Our main 3 staff members are John, Siobhán along with Keith our engineer on the field and workshop duties as well as part time staff. We endeavour to help with all your daily need and hope to continue to trade with your help for many years to come.
